Buying Guide - How to choose a hammock?

HOW TO CHOOSE A HAMMOCK?
When choosing a hammock, its size is of great relevance. Given enough space there are almost no boundaries to the size of a hammock: the width of the fabric surface strongly influences the hammock’s comfort.

The family hammock

Hammocks with a fabric width of more than 180 cm (5 ft 11 in) are called family hammocks. No matter whether you occupy it alone, with another person or even with two others at the same time, the family hammock is unparalleled when comfort is concerned.

To suspend a family hammock, a minimum distance of 360 cm (11 ft 10 in) is needed between the two sides. The position of the two suspension points should not be placed lower than 160 cm (5 ft 3 in).
